Visible concerns: Early to moderate neck ageing, loss of firmness, crepey texture, fine lines, wrinkles, roughness, uneven-looking tone and visible photodamage.

Best stage of ageing: Particularly well suited to clients beginning to notice subtle to moderate changes in firmness and texture rather than advanced neck laxity. Revision differentiates it from Nectifirm Advanced on this basis.

Experience level: Suitable for beginners wanting to introduce a dedicated neck treatment as well as established anti-ageing skincare users.

Sensitive skin: Revision states that it is suitable for all skin types, but the formula contains fragrance, bergamot peel oil and several fragrance allergens. Highly reactive or fragrance-sensitive clients should patch test before use.

Use morning and evening.

Dispense one or more pumps and apply first to the décolletage. Massage upwards over the neck and towards the jawline using gentle upward strokes. Revision recommends twice-daily application.

Routine order:
Cleanse → Serums/treatments → Nectifirm® → Broad-spectrum SPF in the morning

A gradual introduction is not specifically required by Revision, although sensitive or fragrance-reactive skin may benefit from beginning once daily.

Daily broad-spectrum sunscreen should be applied to the neck and décolletage. Revision specifically recommends daytime sunscreen use alongside Nectifirm.

Nectifirm can function as the dedicated treatment/moisturising step for the neck rather than simply extending a facial moisturiser downwards.

Blend of Five Peptides

The current Revision formula contains several peptide ingredients, including Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Palmitoyl Dipeptide-5 Diaminobutyroyl Hydroxythreonine and Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12. Revision positions the peptide complex as supporting a firmer appearance while helping reduce visible fine lines and wrinkles.

Published dermatology literature supports the broader use of topical tripeptides and hexapeptides in cosmetic formulations, but clinical effectiveness depends heavily on the specific peptide, concentration, delivery system and finished formulation. Ingredient research should therefore not be presented as independent proof of Nectifirm's results.

Dihydromyricetin

A flavonoid-derived ingredient highlighted by Revision for improving the appearance of neck firmness, smoothness and contour. It is particularly relevant to the formula's positioning around crepey-looking and less-defined neck skin.

Sandalwood, Phellodendron + Barley Extracts

Revision highlights this botanical complex for reducing the appearance of dryness and roughness, complementing the corrective peptide components with moisture and skin-conditioning support.

Ceramide NG

Ceramides are naturally important components of the stratum corneum lipid barrier. In properly formulated skincare, topical ceramides can contribute to improved water retention and barrier support. Nectifirm contains Ceramide NG as part of its moisturising formulation.

Vitamins C + E

Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate and Tocopherol provide antioxidant and skin-conditioning support. Revision highlights vitamins C and E for helping the skin appear brighter and more even in tone.

Glycerin + Squalane

Humectant and emollient components that support hydration, softness and comfort, particularly valuable on neck skin experiencing dryness alongside visible ageing.
