Use in the evening only. After cleansing, dispense one pump and apply evenly over the face, avoiding the eye contour, lips and corners of the nose.

Begin two or three evenings per week or every third evening. Gradually increase the frequency as the skin develops tolerance. Follow with a suitable moisturiser.

Do not combine with another retinoid. Avoid using exfoliating acids, scrubs or benzoyl peroxide in the same routine unless recommended by a qualified skin professional.

Some temporary dryness, flaking or mild sensitivity may occur when introducing retinol. Reduce the frequency or discontinue use if persistent irritation develops.

Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your practitioner before using retinol around professional skin treatments, waxing, laser procedures or chemical peels.

Apply a broad-spectrum SPF50+ sunscreen every morning and limit unnecessary sun exposure.

Retinol is a well-researched topical vitamin A derivative that is converted within the skin to retinaldehyde and then retinoic acid. Consistent use can support epidermal renewal and collagen-related processes, helping improve the appearance of photoageing, fine lines, uneven pigmentation and rough texture.

Retinyl palmitate is a vitamin A ester that must undergo additional conversion steps before becoming biologically active. It is generally considered milder than retinol and provides complementary vitamin A activity.

Lanablue™, derived from Aphanizomenon flos-aquae blue-green algae, is promoted as a botanical “phytoretinoid” because of its skin-smoothing and renewal-supporting properties. It is not a true retinoid and should not be considered equivalent to prescription retinoic acid.

Vitamin E and dimethylmethoxy chromanol provide antioxidant support, while Canadian willowherb is included for its soothing properties.
