Use in the evening only.

Begin by applying a pea-sized amount to clean, completely dry skin once or twice a week. Avoid the eye area, corners of the nose and lips.

As skin tolerance develops, gradually increase use to every second evening and then nightly if comfortable.

Allow the product to absorb before applying moisturiser. Clients prone to dryness may apply moisturiser before and after Retinol 0.5 using the sandwich method.

Always apply a high-protection broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning while using retinol.

Important Cautions
Do not use during pregnancy, when planning pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Introduce gradually to reduce the likelihood of dryness, flaking, redness or irritation.
Apply to completely dry skin.
Avoid the eye area, lips and corners of the nose.
Do not apply to broken, irritated or recently treated skin.
Avoid combining with other retinoids in the same routine.
Introduce exfoliating acids, scrubs and benzoyl peroxide cautiously and preferably on alternate nights.
Reduce frequency if persistent irritation develops.
Daily broad-spectrum sunscreen is essential.
