Glycation and Visible Skin Ageing

Advanced glycation end-products are formed through non-enzymatic reactions between reducing sugars and proteins, lipids or nucleic acids. Within the skin, glycation can affect long-lived structural proteins such as collagen and elastin.

Published scientific reviews associate AGE accumulation with oxidative stress, inflammatory signalling, impaired skin elasticity and visible skin ageing. This research supports the biological rationale for anti-glycation skincare and nutrition strategies but does not establish that any individual supplement can completely prevent or reverse glycation.

Hydrocurc® Bioavailability Research

Hydrocurc® combines curcumin with LipiSperse® dispersion technology. A human pharmacokinetic study compared curcumin delivered with and without the LipiSperse® complex and found that the delivery technology increased circulating curcuminoid levels.

This supports the enhanced bioavailability of the Hydrocurc® ingredient. It does not independently prove that Anti-G-Ox™ Yuzu will produce specific changes in wrinkles, pigmentation, firmness or skin elasticity.
