TriHex Procedure-Support Research

Ultra Nourishing Moisturiser has been included within Alastin skincare systems evaluated around professional cosmetic procedures.

A randomised, single-blinded study involved 15 women aged 45–70 undergoing fractionated CO₂ laser resurfacing. Ten participants used a TriHex-containing skincare system from three weeks before treatment until 12 weeks afterwards, while five used a bland dimethicone ointment and petrolatum-based cream.

The TriHex regimen included multiple products, including Gentle Cleanser, Skin Nectar, Soothe + Protect Recovery Balm, Ultra Nourishing Moisturiser and sunscreen. Researchers reported that the system was well tolerated and supported post-procedure recovery and cosmetic outcomes.

Because the study assessed an entire regimen, its results cannot be attributed specifically to Ultra Nourishing Moisturiser.
