Medik8 Balance Moisturiser & Glycolic Acid Activator is a two-step skincare pairing designed for oily, combination and blemish-prone skin. The lightweight, 97% oil-free moisturiser helps visibly mattify excess shine, support a balanced skin microbiome and provide comfortable hydration without a heavy finish.
The Balance Moisturiser combines prebiotics and postbiotics with Niacinamide, Beta-Glucan and Cinnamon Extract to help support healthy-looking skin, regulate excess oil and visibly calm blemish-associated redness. Its lightweight gel texture leaves the complexion feeling soft and hydrated while creating a smooth, mattified finish.
Included Glycolic Acid Activator provides targeted AHA exfoliation two to three evenings per week. Applied before the moisturiser, it helps remove accumulated surface cells, refine uneven texture and promote a brighter, smoother and more decongested-looking complexion.

How to Use
Balance Moisturiser
Use morning and evening after cleansing and treatment serums.
Apply evenly across the face, neck and décolletage. In the morning, allow the moisturiser to absorb before finishing with broad-spectrum sunscreen.
Glycolic Acid Activator
Use 2–3 evenings per week.
After cleansing, apply 4–6 drops across the face, neck and décolletage. Allow to dry before applying the Balance Moisturiser. Apply the two products separately and do not mix them together before application.
Glycolic Acid Activator may increase sensitivity to UV exposure, so broad-spectrum sunscreen should be used consistently during the day. Medik8 advises using the activator in the evening rather than during the daytime.
When introducing glycolic acid, reduce frequency if dryness, irritation or sensitivity occurs. Patch test at least 24 hours before first use.
